Frequently asked questions

If you cannot find what you are looking for, write to us; we usually answer the same day.

Ordering

How do I order, and is there online payment
Add the products to your cart and fill in the order form. Online payment is being set up; for now we receive your order by email or WhatsApp and share bank transfer details. Once payment arrives, your parcel leaves on the next roast day. You can also pay by card and collect at the café.
Can I change or cancel my order
Yes, until the parcel has been handed to the courier. Write to us on WhatsApp or by email with your order number. Because coffee is ground to order, we cannot make changes after it has shipped.
Can you send it as a gift
Yes. Add the recipient's name and your message to the order note; we write it on a card by hand and put it in the parcel. We do not include the invoice; it is emailed to you.

Shipping

How long does shipping take and what does it cost
We ship anywhere in Türkiye. Within Ankara it is usually next day, other cities 1–3 business days. Shipping is free on orders over ₺1,500 and a flat ₺120 below that. Subscription parcels always ship free. See the shipping and returns page for details.
Do you ship abroad
At the moment we ship only within Türkiye. For requests from abroad, write to us; for larger orders we try to find a solution.

Freshness and storage

When is the coffee roasted and how fresh does it arrive
We roast every week and every bag carries its roast date. Orders are packed on the next roast day, so coffee usually reaches you 2–5 days after roasting. Filter coffees are at their best from 7 days after roasting, espresso blends from 5 days.
How should I store the coffee
In its own pouch, sealed, somewhere cool, dry and away from light. Do not refrigerate it; it absorbs moisture and odours. Whole beans keep well for 6–8 weeks after roasting; we suggest using ground coffee within 2 weeks.

Grind and brewing

Which grind should I choose
If you have a grinder, choose Whole bean and grind right before brewing; the difference is significant. Otherwise choose by method: Filter for V60, Chemex and batch brewers; French press; AeroPress; Espresso for espresso machines and moka pots; Turkish coffee for the cezve.
What ratio should I brew at
The starting points printed on the back of our box: V60 1:15–1:16, Chemex 1:15–1:16, batch brewer 1:15, AeroPress 1:14–1:16, French press 1:12–1:14. See the brew guides for step-by-step recipes.

Subscription

How does the subscription work
You choose 1, 2 or 4 bags a month; on each month's roast day the parcels leave with free shipping. We pick the coffees that are at their best that month; you can prefer filter, espresso or a mix. Details on the subscription page.
Can I pause the subscription
Yes, at any time and for as long as you like. Just write to us before the next roast day. Cancelling works the same way; there is no commitment.

Wholesale

Can I buy wholesale for my café or office
Yes. For cafés, restaurants and offices we offer wholesale pricing, equipment support, barista training and weekly delivery within Ankara. There is a small minimum order; fill in the form on the wholesale page and we will get back to you with samples.
